![]() ![]() In addition to the time manipulating parkour and combat that is expected from the Sands game, the Wii version has some very well utilized abilities that greatly expand the puzzle solving and platforming. This game was probably assumed by many to be an inferior version of the HD game of the same name, but The Forgotten Sands on Wii is actually its own game, and I’d say it’s actually the best Prince of Persia. Possibly the most overlooked game on this list comes from ironically one of the most mainstream series that has a representative on it. Prince of Persia: The Forgotten Sands There are as many versions of this game as grains of sand in a desert, but this is the best one. I’ll be covering ten games for the original Wii that are great, cheap, and often overlooked. There are dozens of quality Wii games that fell through the cracks or simply didn’t have the Nintendo price retainment aura, and can now be picked up used or even new for $15 or less. The Wii U is fully backwards compatible with the original Wii, and the Wii happens to be in its golden age for cheap game prices. If you want to pick up some cheap games for gifts or just to give yourself something to play, however, there is a way to do that without sacrificing quality. New video games are expensive, and not the kind of thing you could think of as a stocking stuffer. As the holiday season approaches, it can put a strain on your wallet if you are buying games for yourself or someone else.
